Service Description
Unseen Poetry is often the middle child of the English Literature GCSE — overlooked, rushed, or left until the last minute. But it’s worth 32 marks and can make a real difference to your teen’s final grade. These two friendly, focused online sessions will give your child a simple, reliable method for approaching both Unseen Poetry questions with confidence. We’ll break down exactly what the exam is asking for, how to structure responses, and how to analyse a poem they’ve never seen before. What’s included: Two 45-minute live Zoom sessions Tuesday 13th & Tuesday 20th January, 7.15–8.00pm A short strategy video explaining how to approach the questions A poem pack with example questions they can use for revision Feedback on one practice response to help them improve quickly By starting now (ahead of the 19th May exam), students have plenty of time to build calm, steady confidence — and secure marks that many others miss. This is perfect for students who feel unsure about poetry, want to improve their technique, or simply need clear guidance to boost their grade. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
