With over a decade of experience teaching English in secondary schools, I bring a deep love of language, literature, and learning to every session. Whether it’s exploring a powerful novel, crafting a creative story, or unlocking the secrets of a tricky exam question, I help students connect with English in meaningful and lasting ways.

Group Tuition
I offer small-group English tuition designed to support students from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, helping them grow in confidence, develop key skills, and find real enjoyment in the subject. Each group is run in 6 week blocks and has no more than four students, allowing for tailored attention, regular feedback, and a calm, focused learning environment where everyone feels supported.

🔹 KS3 (Years 7–9) – These sessions focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary, while encouraging creativity and curiosity.

🔹GCSE (Year 10) – This group bridges the gap between foundation-building and exam preparation. Students develop their analytical and creative skills through reading comprehension, writing practice, and structured discussion.

🔹 GCSE (Year 11) – Our GCSE sessions are structured, exam-focused, and confidence-boosting. Whether it’s tackling tricky texts or mastering exam technique, these sessions ensure your child feels ready to succeed.

My one-to-one English tuition sessions offer completely personalised support for students from KS2 right through to GCSE. Whether your child needs a confidence boost before their SATs, help catching up with key skills in KS3, or tailored guidance to prepare for GCSE exams, these sessions are built around their individual needs and learning style.
Each session provides a calm, encouraging space where your child can ask questions, explore new ideas, and grow in confidence — both in English and in themselves.
