Give your child a confident head start — or a much-needed boost — with An Inspector Calls: Study & Revision, a structured six-week programme designed for Year 9–11 students from any exam board. Across live sessions, short pre-session videos and follow-up tasks, students will build a deep understanding of the play and develop genuine exam-ready skills. Each week includes: ⭐ A short pre-session video to introduce key knowledge ⭐ A live Zoom lesson (Tuesdays, 6–7pm) focused on analysis, writing skills and exam technique ⭐ An after-session task with personalised feedback ⭐ Optional mock paper and revision booklet at the end Live Session Dates & Times (all 6–7pm on Zoom): • Tuesday 13th January • Tuesday 20st January • Tuesday 27th January • Tuesday 3rd February • Tuesday 10th February • Tuesday 17th February Across the six weeks, we will cover: ✔ A clear, confident understanding of Act 1, Act 2 and Act 3 ✔ All major characters: Birling, Sybil, Sheila, Eric, Gerald and Eva/Daisy ✔ Key themes including social responsibility, class, gender, morality, age, and power ✔ Essential context: Britain in 1912 and 1945, Priestley’s purpose, and the play’s genre ✔ Dramatic methods and language analysis (what examiners actually want) ✔ How to approach both AQA and Edexcel exam questions ✔ Planning, writing and refining analytical paragraphs ✔ Tips for remembering quotes and using them effectively This course is ideal for: • Year 9 students wanting a strong head start • Year 10 students currently studying the play in school • Year 11 students who need focused revision, structure and feedback By the end of the programme, students will feel more secure in their knowledge, more confident in their writing, and far more prepared for their GCSE exam.
